FIRST, OUR VIEWS:

OUR VERY OWN DR. MENGELE, RIGHT HERE

our very own Dr. MengeleIn a recent Substack article, "The Most Evil Man in Evangelicalism And Those Who Platformed Him," we read about (if you can stomach ingesting and digesting the whole thing) a gristly series of medical experiments conducted right here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And Evangelical leaders all over the U.S. applauded our very own "Dr. Mengele."

The article begins with a quote from C.S. Lewis: "Of all the passions, the passion for the Inner Ring is most skillful in making a man who is not yet a very bad man do very bad things." When we think of Nazi Germany's Dr. Mengele, who conducted "medical experiments" on living human subjects, we want to think "Oh, that could never happen here!" But it did. And such experiments continue to happen here, in the U.S. Unborn babies – some of them full-term and even during birth – are killed in Planned Barrenhood abortuaries, their warm organs being sold for medical experiments to the University of Pittsburgh, right here, encouraged by an Evangelical medical doctor heading the National Institute of Health. And Christian leaders praised him as "a brother in Christ."

In the early 2020s, I reported on these atrocities in our newletter, but heard not a peep from our subscribers, no comments. How many who call themselves Christians either didn't believe it – "it couldn't happen here" – or they they are complicit, ignoring or even justifying these mass murders of the unborn because of thier own fornication or adultery or even abortions? I don't know, I can only wonder why. More on this investigation here: "Judicial Watch Sues HHS for Records of Taxpayer Funding of Human Fetal Tissue Research at Univ. of Pittsburgh."

Ever since the introduction of "The Pill" in the 1960s, the Sexual Revolution really took off, disconnecting sexual relations from having children and raising healthy, stable families: there would be no consequences, nobody would ever know. But then people began to "slip up" – they forgot to take the pill, or it didn't work. They may call it a "mistake," but in reality it's the intended purpose of sex, to create a new life, a baby, a real human being, it's not "just a lump of tissue." Then the "Great Society" welfare system encouraged single motherhood by subsidizing it, thus encouraging premarital and extramarital sex, and resulting in fatherless boys roaming the streets, shooting up drugs... and other people. The dehumanization had begun.

So, what has ensued? First, a carefree attitude about "casual sex." Then a convenient solution to the "mistakes" – abortion solves that problem. (Actually, one action of birth control pills is to prevent implantation of the fertilized egg, a new human baby, so that is also a form of abortion.) Secondly, women began having fewer babies. In order to maintain our population, we need a fertility rate of 2.1 babies per woman, So thirdly, we've had to open up the borders for mass, uncontrolled immigration. Both "conservative" factory owners because they need more workers, and "liberal" politicians because they need more voters, joined forces to quietly allow it. Why is all this happening?

In the 50+ years since the U.S. Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade case, we as a nation have allowed over sixty million abortions. And now that our consciences are so numbed by this inconceivable number, it became easy to begin selling these babies' organs for medical experimentation. We must not project our guilt on the Nazi's extermination of six million Jews, or Stalin's execution of sixty million Russians and Ukrainians and minority nationalities. During our 17 years living in Russia, I came across documentation of 50,000 Udmurts buiried in mass graves behind an Orthodox church building in the Udmurt Soviet Republic, and 200,000 Maris buried in mass graves all around the Mari Soviet Republic. But that's just comparable to the mass killing of sixty million U.S. unborn babies. Let that sink in!

The U.S. Supreme Court has also ruled that if women are to have equal rights the same as men because the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution gave women the right to vote and own property, then in 2015 the Court's Obergefell v. Hodges case created out of thin air the right of a man to "marry" another man, and a woman to "marry" another woman. This unleashed a landslide: DEI, promoting "gender identity" and transgenderism, and anyone can use any bathrooms and locker rooms: see "Gay Marriage Didn’t Just Redefine Marriage – It Redefined Humanity." By disconnecting sexuality from biological reality, we've created a dystopia.

America needs to repent in sackcloth and ashes! The founding principle, the ideal of freedom of religion, has degenerated into freedom (or license) to believe anything and behave any way you choose. We must return to the true, original Christian faith before it is too late!

Pray for Americans to repent, both individually and as a society, if we are to avoid socio-economic chaos and disaster.

NEXT, THE NEWS:

2. ASSISTED DEATH ADVOCATES HOPE TO END FAITH-BASED HOSPITAL EXEMPTIONS IN BC
from: LiveAction

SYNOPSIS: A Charter (foundational law) challenge in British Columbia, Canada is seeking to end exemptions that allow faith-based hospitals to opt-out of providing medical assistance in dying (MAiD). Plaintiffs, including Dying With Dignity Canada, argue that denying MAiD in faith-based hospitals violates patient rights. Faith-based hospitals, like Providence Health Care, argue that their religious freedom is protected and that they uphold a belief in the dignity of life from conception to natural death.

If the plaintiffs win, religious hospitals could be forced to choose between providing MAiD or withdrawing from publicly-funded care. The case stems from the experience of Sam O'Neill's family, who allege that transferring their daughter for MAiD was discriminatory and caused her pain. Pro-euthanasia advocates are using this case to pressure the courts to remove conscience rights from religious institutions. The article suggests that forcing religious hospitals to offer MAiD could lead to the prioritization of death over palliative care.

Pray that Canadians will wake up and comprehend that "death with dignity" is actually assisted suicide that leads down the slippery slope of "euthanasia" – killing off the elderly, demented, and disabled. Suicide is a sin, not a right.

3. PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF: STRUCTURES OF MOSCOW PATRIARCHATE IN EUROPE ARE TARGETING UKRAINIAN AUDIENCE
from: RISU

SYNOPSIS: Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) in Europe is targeting the Ukrainian audience by using the Ukrainian language in their services. A Ukrainian Orthodox priest, Fr. Kostiantyn Shevchenko, observed a Ukrainian-language announcement at a ROCOR community in Germany. Shevchenko believes the ROCOR is intentionally attracting Ukrainian believers. Some Ukrainians in Europe, according to Shevchenko, still attend Moscow Patriarchate-affiliated services, despite the presence of Ukrainian Orthodox communities.

"Today, I visited a small town in Germany. As is my custom, I try to turn every trip into a kind of church tour, so I decided to visit a Lutheran church. There, I came across a rather telling announcement, which you can see in the photo," said Fr. Kostiantyn. "In fact, the ROCOR has reached a point where it incorporates Ukrainian transliteration in its announcements and seems to take pride in it." Shevchenko urges Ukrainians to support services that maintain their cultural and spiritual connection to Ukraine, rather than those affiliated with the aggressors.

Ask the Lord to put a stop to Russia's aggression and attempted takeover of Ukraine's spiritual and political freedom.

4. A CHRISTIAN VISION OF FAMILY LIFE: SEEING CHILDREN AS A GIFT, NOT A BURDEN
from: American Life League

SYNOPSIS: This article discusses the global demographic crisis, highlighting declining birth rates and the potential societal consequences, drawing parallels to the dystopian film Children of Men. It uses the story of Baby Lara Bussi Trabucco in the village of Pagliara dei Marsi to illustrate the reality of depopulation and its impact on communities. The author connects the issue to the views of pro-life leaders who have warned about the demographic winter due to factors like abortion and changing views on family.

The article points out how governments worldwide are panicking and implementing measures to boost birth rates, including financial incentives and tax breaks, even in countries like China, which previously had strict population control policies. The author emphasizes the Christian vision of family life, viewing children as gifts and blessings, contrasting this with a modern trend of prioritizing wealth and comfort over having children. The article concludes by urging a spiritual renewal, encouraging parents to embrace parenthood and reverse the trend towards childlessness, emphasizing that a world without children is a bleak one.

Pray for people to wake up to the fact that chasing after pleasure, money, or success is a dead end street leading to population collapse if we don't raise healthy families with faith in the loving God Who wa nts us to live forever with Him.

5. AS PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES LIVE LONGER, FACILITIES REWORK SERVICES
from: Disability Scoop

SYNOPSIS: This article discusses the increasing aging population of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and the challenges this presents for care facilities. People with disabilities are living longer due to medical advancements, leading to a growing need for more intensive care as they age. Facilities like Hammer & NER are facing funding shortages and a severe staffing crisis, making it difficult to meet the rising demand for care.

The shift in caregiving responsibilities is becoming a challenge as many family caregivers are also aging. Hammer & NER is adapting by providing specialized training for staff, remodeling facilities, and launching a fundraising campaign to address the needs of its aging residents. The article features the experiences of families like the Amundsons, highlighting the challenges of caring for aging loved ones with disabilities, including conditions like dementia. Experts, such as Tamar Heller, emphasize the urgency of planning for the increased need for facility-based care for older adults with disabilities.

Fewer and fewer young people are available and trained to care for the elderly and disabled: pray about this! To see how to solve this dilemma, go to "Seniors Serving Seniors" – www.SenServSen.org.

6. THE KEY TO LIVING LONGER IS SMALL CHANGES IN SLEEP, DIET AND EXERCISE, NEW RESEARCH FINDS
from: ABC News

SYNOPSIS: "A few extra minutes of sleep per night, plus a few more vegetables or grains and a little bit more exercise per day, can go a long way to improve health and longevity." New research suggests small changes to sleep, diet, and exercise can significantly improve health and potentially extend lifespan. A study of over 59,000 older adults found that even a few extra minutes of sleep and exercise, along with improved diet, can make a difference. The study, led by Nicholas Koemel at the University of Sydney, showed people with the poorest health habits could gain a year of life with modest improvements in these areas.

Another study published in The Lancet indicated that reducing sedentary time by 30 minutes daily and increasing moderately intense exercise by 5 minutes could lower mortality risk. Experts like Dr. Maha Alattar emphasize the cumulative benefits of small sleep improvements, such as adding 30 minutes to existing sleep patterns. Glenn Gaesser notes that even small increases in exercise, like going from zero to 10 minutes of walking, can have significant benefits. The article underscores the importance of achievable, sustainable changes rather than drastic lifestyle overhauls, as noted by Nicholas Koemel.

Thank the Lord for small things like enough sleep, a healthy diet, and the right kind of exercise that can enable people to live and enjoy life longer.

7. GEOMETRIC INTELLIGENCE: THE FUTURE OF COGNITIVE SUPPORT
from: Disabled World

SYNOPSIS: In the quiet laboratories of neuroscience and the buzzing servers of artificial intelligence research, a profound realization is taking shape: intelligence itself may be basically spatial or geometric. This insight – that our thoughts, memories, and reasoning abilities emerge from spatial patterns and relationships rather than purely symbolic processing – is revolutionizing how we understand and support human cognition. For millions of seniors facing age-related cognitive changes and individuals living with disabilities.

Geometric Intelligence offers more than theoretical elegance; it promises practical tools and interventions that could maintain independence, enhance quality of life, and unlock capabilities previously thought impossible. As we stand at this intersection of mathematics, neuroscience, and assistive technology, we find ourselves asking not just how intelligence works, but how we can harness geometric principles to ensure all people – regardless of age or ability – can fully participate in the spatial, reasoning-rich world we inhabit.

Praise the Lord for this amazing discovery about the way we build and store our memories in spatial or geometric compartments, and the effect this new insight can have on maintaining mental function as people grow older.

CHRIST SENDING OUT THE TWELVE

xxx-xxxJesus Christ showed and taught His followers how to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and care for the poor and brokenhearted, then He sent them out to do the same. It seems, however, that many Christians think - "I don't have the gift of healing, I'm not a great evangelist or a pastor, so I guess I'll just be an ordinary layperson, sitting in my cushioned pew, singing hymns and listening to sermons." Why do people think that way? And what should we do about it?

We've been conditioned by centuries of social pressure, for example, under the Moslems who in the seventh century conquered the Middle East, North Africa, Spain, parts of France, Italy, Russia, the Balkans and Hungary, and who at best consigned Christians to second-class "dhimmi" status and forbade them to have any social outreach - only Moslems were allowed to do that. Christians were limited to only hold religious observances within four church walls. At worst, Christians were persecuted and killed if they wouldn't convert to Islam.

Then in Western Europe, after driving the Moslems back and after several religious wars that decimated the populations, the various Edicts of Toleration reinforced the notion that people should stop fighting and show "tolerance" to those of other religious convictions, not pushing their religious beliefs on others.

But in the Christian East, shortly after the collapse of the Moslem Turkish Empire, in the 1917 Russian Revolution, Communism took hold and at best strictly limited the Christian faith to only religious observances within four church walls, they were forbidden to have any kind of social ministry: only communists were allowed to do that. At worst, Christians who wouldn't meekly comply were tortured and killed.

And in the West it's just a bit more subtle: the ever-expanding secular humanism under the guise of "democracy", "freedom" and "tolerance" exerts strong social pressure against living out one's Christian faith in the public square. Nowadays, if any Christian suggests, "We ought to be taking care of 'the poor, the maimed, the lame and the blind' like Christ did and taught His followers to do! - the standard reply is - "Oh, that's not our job: let the government do it." But government-managed "healthcare" doesn't care about your health, it's motivated by power and money: if the patient can't pay, shove him out the door. Don't think so? We've seen it happen!

And leftists now push the idea that religious freedom means only the right to attend the worship service of your choice, not "the free exercise of religion" as the First Amendment clearly states. Do you see a pattern developing here? They want to take over the Social Ministry of the Church - see our six short courses that will help you break out of these cultural stereotypes!

How often have you heard, "Don't shove your religion down other people's throats!" and Christians being labeled as "intolerant" or "bigoted" or "haters" if they speak of or live out their beliefs in public? We've internalized these social pressures, accepting them as "normal" and even come to believe in them almost as religious dogma. We must break out of this "psychological box" that we've been shoved into, and reclaim the free exercise of our religion in society, as Christ commanded us to do.

You likely don't have the gifts of healing or exorcism. Perhaps you're not a great evangelist: you get real nervous if asked to speak in public. It's OK if you don't have those spiritual gifts. Remember Christ's parable of the ten talents, five talents and one talent? The person with just one talent buried it, so the Master took it and gave it to the person who had ten.

But actually, you most likely have ten talents already! What are those things attached to your palms? Ten fingers! You have ten spiritual gifts, called the gift of helps! Learn how to start using them, and perhaps the Master will entrust you with some of the greater gifts. Break out of the box!
